Officer detected a suspicious odor in the vicinity of the Power House and wash bay. He was unable to determine its origin.
Employee of Kwik Shop at 105 W 12th reported a gas drive-off involving a blue passenger vehicle. ESU PD Dispatch also contacted Emporia Police Dept with information. ESU Officer was unable to locate vehicle.

Officer stopped KS VDG453 in 1400 Market. Verbal warning for a one-way violation in the same location.
Officer stopped KS 388BWH at 13th and Merchant. Verbal warning for driving with no headlights at 13th and Merchant.
ESU PD HQ received multiple burglary alarms from Anderson Library to which officers responded. After a short foot chase, Jamie Osage was taken into custody for Criminal Damage to Property, Burglary, Theft, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Justice, and transported to Lyon Co. jail by Emporia Police Dept.

Officer stopped AL 58D41B6 in 1400 Merchant. Citation for speeding in 1800 Merchant.
Officer observed a male subject in the Kwik Shop at 105 W 12th acting suspiciously. Officer contacted the clerk by telephone and found there was no problem.
Officer stopped KS WBL577 in 500 E 12th. Citation for speeding in 100 E 12th.
Officer checked KS PXY341 in Sector 6. The headlights were left on. No other problem was found.
