Officer provided jump start assistance for KS VHT750 in Sector 7.

Officer checked KS 476BWG at ESU Apt.-1201 Triplett Dr.  Officer contacted owner at apartment A-9 and advised that interior light was on.

Officer pursued vehicle from 1800 Merchant through campus and east part of city for various traffic infractions. Suspect was identified and vehicle located but owner would not respond to officers attempt to contact him at his residence.

April 7

Parking Enforcement removed immobilizer from KS QSN527 in Lot 9.

Officer stopped KS VZT952 at 200 W 12th.  Verbal warning for child restraint violation at 12th and Merchant.

Officer stopped KS VFD060 at 700 Commercial. Verbal warning for improper display of tag.

Officer provided jump start assistance for KS 434BWU at Lot 3.

Officer stopped KS 284BZX in 1100 Commercial.  Citation for careless driving at 12th and Highland.

Parking Enforcement immobilized KS VVS874 in Pavilion meters. Officers assisted the Emporia Police Dept. with a lock out for KS 609AFH at 1225 Sunnyslope.

Officer provided lock out assistance to KS VVZ380 at 2220 Prairie.

Officer assisted Emporia Police Dept. with attempting to contact a student  at Trusler Hall Room 7.  No contact was made.

Officer stopped IA 258XAN in 1400 Market.  Verbal warning for driving with high beams on and a one-way violation at 13th and Market.

April 8

Officer provided lock out assistance for MO MC8D2F in Lot 1.

Officer provided escort for a female subject from campus to 741 Road G.

Officer stopped NY EUV2554 at 12^th and Sylvan for speeding in 10 E 12th.

Travis Savage was taken into custody for allegedly driving while suspended and transported to Lyon Co. jail.

Officer provided lock out assistance for KS XEN079 at 1013 Neosho.

Officer assisted Emporia Police Dept. with a lock out for KS 30-day 103499 at 2 S Congress.

Officer responded to a 911 hang up at Central Morse Hall Room 12.  Officer was unable to make contact with anyone in the room.

Officer removed immobilizer from KS 174CBP in Free Parking.

Officer took report of a non-injury accident involving KS 477BWH and KS 423AUE at 1700 Morse Dr.

Officer observed male subject attempting to pick up a bench in front of Snip-N-Clip 12th and Merchant.  Subject fled after spotting officer.  After searching the area, officer was unable to locate.

Officer observed two male subjects carrying construction cones in the area of 15th and Merchant.  Subjects had removed the cones from a construction site in 1400 Merchant.  The cones were turned over to an Emporia Police Dept. officer to be returned.

Officer removed debris from the street in 100 W 13th.

April 9

Officer provided jump start assistance for KS 603ABT in 1200 Highland.

Parking Enforcement immobilized KS XBQ411 in lot 3.

Officer stopped KS QSN089 in 2000 Merchant.  Verbal warning for illegal riding in truck bed in 100 E 12th.

Officer provided escort for subject to 2929 W Hwy 50.

Officer contacted subjects in 1400 Merchant and advised to stay on the sidewalk.

Officer provided lock out assistance for KS XIK472 at 12th and Cottonwood.

Officer contacted students on soccer field and advised of campus policy.

Officer checked welfare of resident at  ESU Apt A9-1201 Triplett Dr.

Ben Hanke reported Jessica Penn had hurt her knee in the practice fields north of Sector 5.  Subject was transported to Newman Regional Health by private vehicle.

Officer checked Trusler Sports Complex. The south yellow gate was left open for an RV that had made arrangements through the athletic department to stay there overnight.

Officer assisted Emporia Police Dept. with a possible fire at the Student Christian Center-1503 Merchant.

April 10

Officer provided lock out assistance for KS WUG637 at 226 W 12th.

Officer provided lock out assistance for KS WSE501 at 7th and Merchant.

Officer stopped KS WRT818 at 10 E 15th.  Verbal warning for a stoplight violation at 15th and Market.

Officer assisted Emporia Police Dept. with a shots fired call at 1601 State.

April 11

Resident Assistant reported a suspicious subject east of Morse Hall Complex.  Officer made contact and advised subject to leave campus.

Officer provided lock out assistance for KS 325 BBA at Trusler Sports Complex.

Officer recovered stolen bicycle at 1325 Merchant and returned to Megan Flory.

Officer provided jump start assistance for KS 134CKB in Sector 6.

Officer assisted Emporia Police Dept. with investigating an unoccupied vehicle at Burlingame Rd. and I-35.

Officer provided jump start assistance for KS National Guard 27295 in 1500 Wooster Dr.
