Officer stopped KS 105BMA at 18th and Merchant Street. A verbal warning was given for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a cross walk.

Dr. Williams requested to speak with an officer on the phone at headquarters.

Levi Miller reported a male subject who would not leave at 1304 Exchange St – Sigma Pi Fraternity. Cory Britschge was taken into custody by Emporia Police Dept. and transported to Lyon Co. jail.

Officers searched the area of Twin Towers Complex for a suspicious object. No device was found.

Light poles 37, 38 and 39 in Lot 7 are out. The blue light above the emergency telephone at the old CDC building is also out.

Officer assisted Lyon Co. deputy with a car stop in 1400 Highland St. block.

Officers checked the welfare of subjects at King Lake. No problem was found.

Officer checked on alarm at Power House. Operators advised it was an internal alarm in reference to the steam tunnels.

August 16

Resident of ESU Apt. Complex reported of loud subjects in the area. Officer found no problem.

Officer checked KS 875EXL in Sector 1. Dome light was on. No other problem was found.

August 17

Officer stopped a bicyclist at 15th and Market. A verbal warning was given for a stop sign violation.

Officer contacted student on window ledge of 7th floor Twin Towers and advised of campus policy regarding the removal of window screens.

Officer stopped KS 173 DVT in 1100 Cottonwood St. A verbal warning was given for speeding in same location.

Officer stopped KS 560AMB at 100 W 15th Ave. A verbal warning was given for defective tail light.

Ambulance responded to North Twin Towers third floor lobby for cut to the hand.

David Stichka was transported by ambulance to Neman Regional Health.
