Officer stopped TX DL1J025 at 12th and Highland Street for a one-way violation in 1200 Market St. Eric Goff was taken into custody for allegedly Driving without Driver’s License, No POI and DUI and was transported to Lyon Co. jail.

August 24

Officers responded to a report of a suicidal male student at 15th and Wooster Dr. Subject was transported to Flint Hills Mental Health.

Officer contacted subjects in the swimming pool in HPER building and advised of campus policy concerning trespassing.

Officer contacted subject attempting to enter multiple vehicles in Sector 7. Subject was taken into custody for Minor In Consumption and transported to Lyon Co. jail.

August 25

Officer assisted Emporia Police Dept. with a hit and run non-accident in 500 E 12th Ave.

Ron Olson reported the water leaking from the ceiling in Cremer Hall Lab Room 193. Computers were moved and covered with plastic. Buckets were placed under the leak until the problem could be repaired.

Officer responded to a fire on an electrical pole in the vicinity of the east compound. Westar was contacted.

Officer checked KS QSL691 in Sector 7. The vehicles headlights were on. No other problem found.

Officer assisted Emporia Police Dept. with a medical call at 1325 Merchant St.

Officer assisted a Lyon Co. deputy with a car stop at 12th and Cottonwood St.

Officer provided escort for an intoxicated female subject from Beach Music Hall to 107 E Norton St.

Officers responded to a report of subjects with open containers in 1800 Highland St. No contact was made.

Officer contacted skateboarders in Lot 3 and advised of campus policy.

Officer stopped OK 612FZG at 15th and Wooster Dr. A verbal warning was given for driving with no headlights.

Officer provided lock out assistance for KS 528DZL at 12th and Cottonwood St.

August 27

Officer stopped KS 681EPJ on Kellogg Circle. A verbal warning was given for failure to yield to a pedestrian.

Dean’s Office reported a vehicle parked in the Dean’s Reserved Parking east of Beach Music Hall. A citation was given for a parking violation.

Officer contacted a skateboarder in 1300 Merchant St. and advised of campus policy.

Found property was returned to Wayne Stallard.
