The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a burglary to a residence in the 2300 block of Road Z, in the Reading area. This occurred during the daytime on Feb. 15.

Numerous valuables were taken in the burglary, including guns and jewelry. The owner may offer a small cash reward for information that leads to the recovery of the property.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office would like any information that may assist in the investigation. Contact the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office at 342-5545, or Lyon County Crime Stoppers at 342-2273. Crime Stoppers may offer a reward of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
