The Emporia State baseball team faced Northeastern State University in the first match up of conference play under the midday sun at Glennen Field on Sat. Feb. 26. The Hornets lost the game 4-0 and are now 5-8 on the season. (Left) Aaron Bechtel winds up for the pitch on the mound. (Top) Kadyn Williams drives a straight shot into the field from the left side of the box. (Bottom) Williams scoops a groundball on the outside of his foot so he can use his momentum to throw the runner out as fast as possible.
